    Qualifications to Rent with ONS

    • 18+ to rent – No Underage Fee’s will be Charged
    • Valid Drivers License
    • Debit or Credit Card * We Accept Prepaid Debit Cards
    • Proof of Insurance (Driver must be listed on this policy as an insured)
    • Security Deposit Ranges from $100 – $300.00 depending on the insurance coverage you provide. Deposit is Fully Refundable at the end of the rental.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    We do allow cancellations although any payments made to secure the reservation is NON REFUNDABLE.

    What Are The Fuel Policies/ Charges?

    The renter must refill the gas tank to the same level as it was upon pick up of the vehicle to avoid a refueling charge of $10.00 Per Gallon

    There is no credit or refund given for any fuel in the tank at the end of the rental. The renter will be required to pay a fuel charge to compensate ONS for the cost and service of refueling the vehicle.

    What do I do in case of an accident?

    Immediately contact the police to complete an accident report and then you must notify ONS Rent-A-Car within 24 hours of the accident. In most incidents, you will need to return to the rental office to complete an accident report for ONS Rent-A-Car’s records and your own. This report is for both parties’ protection, and is particularly important if you have purchased a waiver of damage. You must allow 60 minutes before leaving the rental counter for this procedure.

    Does my credit card cover the rental vehicle?

    Your credit card may cover your responsibility for damage to our vehicle. However, that coverage is almost always secondary or excess to any other coverage you might have, such as your own auto insurance policy. In the usual case, credit cards wind up covering only the deductible on the collision and comprehensive portion of your personal auto policy. To be certain, you must check the terms of your credit card agreement.

    If you have left a personal item behind, please call ONS Rent-A-Car at 941-426-7574. We recommend that you report your lost item immediately, as we cannot guarantee its return, but we will do our best to find it.
